Why Use Our Tools?

Browser-Based Privacy

Every conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device — no uploads, no server storage, no data retention.

No Software to Install

Skip the downloads and setup. Open the tool in any modern browser, paste or upload your data, and get results immediately — on any operating system.

Handles Complex Structures

Nested JSON objects, multi-level XML hierarchies, and multi-sheet Excel workbooks are automatically flattened into clean, tabular CSV output.

Validated Output

Built-in validation checks for encoding issues, missing fields, and malformed data so your converted CSV files are ready to import without manual cleanup.

Understanding Common Data Formats

CSV (Comma-Separated Values)

CSV is the most widely supported tabular data format. Almost every spreadsheet application, database, and analytics tool can import CSV files. Each line represents a row, and values are separated by commas (or other delimiters like tabs or semicolons). Because CSV is plain text, files are compact and easy to inspect manually.

JSON (JavaScript Object Notation)

JSON is the standard format for web APIs and modern applications. It uses key-value pairs and supports nested objects and arrays. While flexible and human-readable, JSON is not directly compatible with spreadsheet software — converting it to CSV makes the data accessible for filtering, sorting, and charting in tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

XML (Extensible Markup Language)

XML is commonly used in enterprise systems, SOAP APIs, and configuration files. Its hierarchical tag-based structure can represent complex relationships, but it is verbose and difficult to analyze directly. Converting XML to CSV extracts the data you need into a flat, sortable format.

Health & Fitness Tracker Exports

Wearable devices from Fitbit, Garmin, Apple, and Strava allow you to export your activity data, but the exported files often come in JSON or XML formats that are hard to work with. Our health data converters transform these exports into clean CSV files, making it easy to chart your step counts, heart rate trends, sleep patterns, and workout history in a spreadsheet.

Getting Started

  1. 1. Choose your converter — Select the tool that matches your source file format from the list above.

  2. 2. Provide your data — Upload a file from your computer or paste the raw content directly into the editor.

  3. 3. Configure options — Adjust delimiter, encoding, or field mapping settings if the defaults don't match your needs.

  4. 4. Download your CSV — Preview the converted output, then download the file. It's ready to open in Excel, Google Sheets, or import into your database.
